Castle Rock PetSmart Adoption Event

Our fabulous volunteers helped us pull off another great adotpion event this past weekend at the Castle Rock PetSmart. We had great dogs and and even greater volunteers that included: Erin, her son Noah, Sonja, her daughter Shannon, Brandy, Kyle, and our diehards Julie and Lisa.

My own foster dog Marty found himself a fantastic forever home (thank you Michael!), and our newest senior Ribeye (a 13 year old Golden Retriever) got to try out a new home too!

Our sleepy love puppy Blitzen was adopted the following day to a great family and is now named Zeke, and our darling Heeler puppy Panda has a great application too!

If you love animals we are always looking for volunteers to work our events. Our next adoption event has not yet been scheduled but will be coming up in early April.  If you have a few hours to spare, contact our volunteer coordinator and let us know how you would like to help! It’s lots of fun AND it feels great finding these sweet animals great new homes!

We are also always looking for foster homes. From puppies to seniors to everything in between please consider opening your home to a rescue dog for a short time. The more foster homes we have, the more dogs we can save by taking them into our organization.
