Kami’s Difficult Life

Kami is a sweet, Border Collie mix that has been recently returned to CAWL reportedly for bad behavior after an 8 month adoption. Kami was returned extremely emaciated but the concern from her former home was her food aggression.

After proper feeding and care, she has been returned to her previous normal weight and no longer has aggression issues but now requires ACL surgery to repair some damage to her leg.

Kami is a very lucky girl because her wonderful new adopter Jeanine has agreed to keep Kami nonetheless and has been amazing to offer to split her veterinarian bills for the surgery with CAWL.
