Butler – In Loving Memory

Butler passed away peacefully in my arms on December 31, 2009.

Despite all the advances in veterinary medicine and the diligent care of many, in the end we were all powerless to save the life of this sweet little guy from the ravages of distemper.  He endeared himself to all who knew him in his short life, especially those of us at American Humane, and the staff and specialists at both VRCC and Deer Creek Animal Hospital.  No one will miss him as much as Ken and me. He stole our hearts. He left for Rainbow Bridge knowing that he had a name and that he was a special part of a family that cared about him and loved him dearly. Butler will never be forgotten and will forever be held dear in our hearts.
